My nutrition counseling has evolved dramatically over the years. Whereas I used to focus the majority of the time on what folks were eating, I now spend much more time and energy honing in on thoughts and behaviors surrounding food.
More like the “how and why” rather than just the “what.”
I had the privilege of giving a presentation to a local mental health office a few weeks ago, and it provided me the opportunity to think about the specifics of my counseling.
